Our Approach

If you are struggling with disordered eating or an eating disorder, it can feel hard to know where to begin or how to keep going in recovery. We believe feeling better is possible.

We will provide a supportive space and a highly individualized plan to help meet your goals. To do this, we will meet you where you are at and partner with you to explore and overcome challenges.

We do not have a one-sized fits all approach.

We use nutrition therapy, strength-based and relational approaches, Intuitive Eating, trauma-sensitive care and evidence-informed therapies like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems.

We provide more intensive support for those who need it. This may include counseling and nutrition sessions, meal support, exposure coaching, cooking instruction, family support and more.

We will help you navigate the health system and partner with other members of your team, like medical doctors or psychiatrists, to ensure you get the best care.

We typically recommend working with a dietitian and a therapist together, as they each provide complementary services and collaborate on your care.

  • “I’m so grateful for the help I've gotten from Zoe. She and I connected much more authentically and so differently than I have with other therapists, in a way that helped me to feel supported from the get go. She has helped me to transform my relationship with food and my body in a way I didn’t think was possible. I can’t thank her enough for the positive change she’s helped bring into my life." - Ally

  • Working with Kate and Zoe was one of the most important and needed parts of my recovery from an eating disorder. From the very beginning, they created a space that felt safe, supportive, and free of judgment. What made the biggest difference for me was their honesty- they never sugarcoated things or avoided hard conversations, but they always approached them with compassion and understanding, which I can’t appreciate enough. - M, Studying Abroad

  • "I am incredibly grateful for finding Alex when I did. She helped me through an incredibly tough part of my life and allowed me to heal, to look after myself, and to be a better person in the world." - Caylee

  • "Adding a dietitian to my care team as I started my recovery journey was one of the best decisions I could have made. It allowed me to continue to focus on the overarching problems during therapy and focus on the behaviors and specific eating disorder thoughts that came up with my dietician. It was especially helpful when the two were in communication with one another too because they were able to work together and plan sessions that addressed the same issue but with their own approaches and areas of expertise." - Anna
