Zoe Spranger

Zoe is an English-speaking therapist serving clients throughout Germany.  Zoe is passionate about partnering with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and co-occurring mental health challenges.

Zoe’s approach to therapy is relational, authentic, and change oriented. She believes in connecting with clients where they are and individualizing her approach to meet the unique needs of every client. When possible, Zoe also enjoys partnering with caregivers and family members to support recovery.

Zoe is trained in and incorporates Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Zoe has also completed training in Family Based Therapy (FBT) for adolescents and young adults with eating disorders.

Zoe earned a master’s degree in social work with a specialization in mental health counseling and family systems therapy from the University of Denver. She then completed two years of post-graduate training and supervision in the US to complete her training and licensure as a therapist. During this time, Zoe worked as an adolescent therapist at Eating Recovery Center, in their residential and inpatient clinic. While living in the US, Zoe also worked as a therapist in adult eating disorder treatment settings and a family therapy center. Upon her move to Germany, Zoe worked as an individual and family therapist with the American military community before opening her own practice.
