Kristen Kiesow

MS, RD

Kristen is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist living in Hamburg, Germany. Kristen specializes in supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating - including, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and ARFID. She also provides care to those who have spent many years dieting or have obsessive “healthy eating” and would like to break free from diet culture to find freedom with food.

Using an individual and compassionate approach, Kristen helps her clients meet their nutritional needs and find safety in food without restriction. She enjoys working with adolescents and young adults struggling with disordered eating and aims to support the entire family unit in healing. Kristen strongly believes that people can have a full recovery from their eating disorder and discover freedom with food again.

While living in the United States, Kristen worked as a nutritionist and clinical research coordinator at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the Eating Disorder Assessment and Treatment Program. She also worked as a Clinical Dietitian at The Renfrew Center residential program. Currently, Kristen is a nutrition consultant for the International School of Hamburg where she presents to students, parents, and faculty about feeding school-aged children & adolescents, how to identify eating disorders in adolescents, and how to promote a body accepting classroom.

Kristen received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Temple University (2016) and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Drexel University (2019). Kristen completed her supervised practice from the Sodexo Dietetic Internship program in Philadelphia (2020).

When she’s not seeing clients, you can usually find Kristen teaching at an indoor cycling studio in Hamburg, eating at new restaurants with friends, or cuddling on the couch with her cat.
